Seán Ó Mainnín, photographer
Seán Ó Mainnín comes from a news and photography background. Once assistant editor of a national newspaper he moved to Connemara 20 years ago on a short-term contract to set up a new publication but has stayed ever since. He now concentrates on photography with a special interest in landscape and marine images. His business, Connemara Light, endeavours to do just that, capture the magical light of a landscape with tones and hues shifting hour by hour. And just to top it all the blood red splash of a Galway Hooker against an azure sky. Endless material and inspiration for a photographer.
